A tribute

I have been wanting to do this. I picked this solider randomly. To read more, go here: Remembering the Fallen...by name.

As an American citizen I thank you, George Delgado for your courage and your sacrifice. I thank your family for all they have given for the cause of freedom. I will remember you. Your family will also be remembered in my prayers. We are forever in your debt. God bless you.

Pvt. George Delgado, 21, of Palmdale, California was one of four soldiers killed on March 23rd, in southern Baghdad after terrorists attacked them with an improvised-explosive device while they were conducting a mounted vehicular patrol. One other soldier was also injured in the attack.

I just checked that out and think it is a truly beautiful thing. It is so sad that so many men and women have to die to protect our freedom.

You should check out www.soldiersangels.org

I am a community team leader for this part of CT and I personally support a soldier right now who is in Iraq. I talked to him through IM tonight and he said that his post was attacked tonight..just a few hours before I spoke to him. So sad to hear that people are having to live through this. He is married with three young children at home and I pray every day that he makes it though this tour and comes home healthy and in one piece.

Ok..sorry..enough of me going on and on..just let me know if you would like more info on Soldiersangels.org

It is sad to read of the fallen.

However we need to keep the Troops who are alive in our thoughts and prayers and when possible do something to make them know we are thinking of them.

Yes, you're right.
